Willibaldarkaden
PLEASURE CARVED FROM THE MOUNTAINSIDE
The ‘Peterskeller’ garden has drawn in and enchanted travellers and locals for centuries. In 1903, Abbot Willibald Hauthaler had a magnificent domed vault carved into the rock face, further adding to the attraction of the tavern. Today, the Willibald Arcades offer a cooling summer retreat in Salzburg’s bustling old town. It’s an ideal setting for standing receptions, lounge evenings and open-air gala banquets. The location is favoured by the hosts of St. Peter Stiftskulinarium, Veronika Kirchmair and Claus Haslauer, for their frequent art exhibitions.
