For the fifth time, Callwey publishers and their partners announced the winners of the major interior design and gastronomy award for ‘The Most Beautiful Restaurants & Bars 2023’ in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
The background… Bar and restaurant guides rarely focus on interior design, or take a look at lighting, furniture and surfaces – but they’re what determines the atmosphere of a place. We like to sink into comfortable chairs, while well-chosen lighting places excellent cuisine in the best possible light, and all kinds of details contribute to the balance and mood. Interiors reveal the self-image of a culinary establishment long before we take a bite or a sip. The Most Beautiful Restaurants & Bars award was established to rectify the situation.
The jury selected a total of 50 outstanding interior design concepts in gastronomy operations. These can be seen in this year’s book: ‘The Most Beautiful Restaurants & Bars 2023’.
We are delighted St. Peter’s Stiftskulinarium has been featured in this publication, including detailed facts and figures, exciting background stories, floor plans and references to the products we use.
As part of the awards, the images of our establishment produced by photographer Anja Koppitsch were also honoured with a special photography prize.
